The Division of Systems and Interaction belongs to the Department for Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering in Lulea University of Technology (LTU). LTU was founded in 1971 and has over 1,600 administrative staff. The division of Systems and Interaction consists of two research subjects, Automatic Control, and Signal Processing. The division is highly connected to the industry and mainly to the mining, pulp and paper, automotive, and manufacturing industries. Currently the division is participating in a significant number of projects, which concern the development of signal processing techniques of industrial applications of ultrasound imaging, flexible radio communications, development of fully autonomous robotic vehicles, and automation of other Mechatronic Setups.
